Share the Good News ♥

Hello Friends! As we prepare for Thanksgiving I wanted to share a page with you that I created from my sermon notes from this past weekend. Our passage was 1 Thessalonians 5:12-18

Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

And our pastor asked us, are we living a life that we are identified as sharing our faith, sharing our joy, sharing our hope we have in Christ? That's what sets us apart from others, and God will send people your way specifically for the reason of you being able to share the good news with them. So friends what are we focused on today? Are we focused on the one negative thing that happened today, because the devil is trying to throw us off? Or are we rejoicing with thanksgiving in our hearts the hope we have in our Lord Jesus Christ?

For this page I journaled Psalm 96:1-4
Oh sing to the Lord a new song;
sing to the Lord, all the earth!
 Sing to the Lord, bless his name;
tell of his salvation from day to day.
Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous works among all the peoples!
For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
he is to be feared above all gods.
I decided to keep this page super simple I used 3 colors of pigmented inks I had from past Illustrated faith kits. and I used coordinating Faber-Castell big brush pens to highlight the verses. I used the Choose Faith stamp set for the entire page. I stamped everything in black archival ink first. Then went back and stamped with colored ink to fill in "Faith" "Hope" and "Joy"
I then added some Illustrated Faith Washi with some cute little acorns on it, wordfetti, and a super cute page marker and I was done! My goal has been lately to keep my pages under 30 minutes, which sometimes can be a huge challenge to me, but this was proof that you can throw a simple page together in under 30 minutes!
Hope y'all enjoyed my page and have an amazing holiday! Let us remember as we go out this season to live with Thanksgiving in our hearts!

Thankful Heart ♥

Hello Friends!
It is officially the season of gratitude, So to keep on with the theme I wanted to document it in my hymnal. I took some step by step pictures, but pretty much this was done with the super easy card swiping paint technique!
I'm here sharing how I created this pretty page in my hymnal using the Sweet n Sassy "So Grateful" stamp set!
At the end I'll show the picture with all the paint and supplies I used. The first step was just swiping the paint. I statred with my darkest color orange, then used pink, gold and white. Since you put a really thin layer it dries pretty much before you even get to the next color.
I then made some gold and white crosses using the paint card by just applying a little bit of paint at the end of the card and pressing to the page vertically, reapplying paint, then making the cross horizontally.
This gold color is gorgeous and I'll admit... I am a little bit obsessed currently!! LOL
I then placed my gold hearts, empherma I found from a craft store, and used my ranger archival ink to stamp "grateful heart" and "thankful heart".
I just love all the gold on this page! the pictures just do not do justice to the pretty shimmer!
I added a gold bow clip that I made and splattered a little bit of black paint, and I was finished!
Below is my finished page and all my supplies except for the black watercolor I used at the end to splatter.

Thankful Grateful Blessed

Ephesians 2:8
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.

I really love fall, sweaters, and boots... the beauty of the scenery changing, the season of thankfulness that begins.... I know we should be thankful every day but I love the idea of devoting a whole month just to reflecting all the reasons we have to be thankful! Everything we have to be thankful for is a gift from God, to him be the glory!
I used 2 stamp sets from Sweet N Sassy to create this page. Lynzee's Script and Falling Leaves.
I started by stamping the leaves on the background with yellow orange and red pigment ink. I applied yellow to the entire stamps then added the red right on top in spots to get it to almost fade in.
Once I had the background done I used the Lynzee script to stamp "Thankful Grateful Blessed"
I added the date stamp and some fall washi to complete the page.

Hope y'all enjoyed my page, for more inspiration you can follow me on Instagram @my.creative.worship and Sweet N Sassy @sweetnsassystamps

The Lord Will Provide

The Lord Will Provide

Genesis 22:14
 So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.

So we had the pleasure this past Memorial Day weekend of attending a Bible Camp nearby that our friends introduced us to last year. We absolutely love it there, it may be our favorite place! So anyways Sunday we had an amazing speaker, and I tried my best to take some good notes! So I created this page ♥
I learned so many things I never heard of before! He told us God has given us more than 600 names for Himself. 18 are Jehovah names. He explained the name of the Lord is given to us so that we may know our Father. As we pray these names we are claiming His promises and covering ourselves. He really focused on this first one, Jehovah-Jireh, which means  the Lord WILL provide. Not he did provide, or he has provided, but that he WILL provide (future tense) ALWAYS.

Our God is a promise keeper. He NEVER fails in a promise. He loves us so much that He gave his ONLY son to offer eternal life to all who believe in Him. Though all the amazing Bible stories of God providing he will test your faith to make sure you believe then provide. He had a saying, God in never late, and he's never early. That He allows crisis into our lives so His name may be glorified. I could probably write pages about this but to sum it all up, He is our provider.
-He provides more than enough
-What he promisies, he will do
-When He calls you, He will equip you.
-What God orders, He pays for.

So I created this very late, so I apologize I don't have progress pics. I first prepped with Dina Wakely clear gesso. Then stamped the phrase using the Chunky Alpha & the new Mini Grunge Alpha (which is seriously an awesome size!!) I then stamped the florals from the Scribble Flowers Set. I used Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black since it's waterproof.

I finished it off by adding watercolor, dating, and adding a super cute bow!

I was super excited to share this page with y'all after I've literally been thinking about it all week! Hope you guys enjoyed the (not so) little message ;)
Until next time lovelies!
