Romans 5:1-5

"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us."

Hey friends! I was trying to figure out what scripture to journal last night and was drawing a blank. I turned to Romans because there's always some good stuff in Romans and I found this passage and was like WHOA. It tells us to rejoice in HOPE of the GLORY of God- but that's not even my favorite part... "Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us."

Basically even if you feel SO LOW and things are SO HARD...there's a bigger picture! We should know that every trial we come to our life we should give it to God. God gives us hardships in our life to make us stronger, better Christians! We should continue leaning on the Lord to make us stronger and we should always know that our hope is in the Lord, the maker of heaven and all the Earth! Remember that the trials he gives, he always gives for a reason...it may just to show you that you can do it, or so that the next person in your life that has such a problem hardship...but doesn't know the Lord will come to know the Lord through your help and guidance through their problem. One day we will be in his kingdom with no trials and thankful for all he has taught us and the character he's given us!

Character=Hope
Hope=Jesus

For this page I wanted to utilize a couple of our new stamp sets! I used Fantastic Flowers for the gorgeous flower and pretty leaves. That stamp set is huge, like the large flower is bigger than the palm of my hand! I love it! Then I used Mini grunge alpha, which is seriously the perfect size alpha! I also used our Child of the King set for "of" and "glory". Then I used Rebecca Script for "hope". I wanted God to be really big so I just freehanded that one!
