Thank our Healthcare Workers

Philippians 4:6-7

"Do not be anxious about anything,

 but in every situation, 

by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,

present your requests to God. 

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, 

will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We are living in crazy times indeed! A time filled with so much fear, uncertainty, questions, anxiety, anger.... the list goes on. There are so many sides and point of views to the virus and the state our world is currently in. But a few things will always remain the true; we are all humans and we are all going through this together, and God will be with us through it all!

Phillippians 4:6-7 tells us "do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God...will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Wow. So much truth and guidance in those verses. Worrying gets us no where! We can worry all we want, but it changes absolutely nothing. We need to pray, pray, pray and give our worries to God, and let them go. He's got this! When we give our worries and our cares to him, we are in turn filled with peace of mind, and we can rest knowing that God has us in his hands.

And again, no matter how you may feel about this virus and how it's being handled, we should all be able to agree that our healthcare workers are working tirelessly to save us and keep us safe. I pray often that God will give them strength and seek his wisdom in the movements and decisions they make during this difficult time. I believe more people are seeking God and his word than every before! And if we are looking for the silver linings in all of this mess, that is for sure a big one! 

Our healthcare workers are tired, stressed, worried, anxious, possibly scared, and even some getting sick themselves. They need our prayers! Pray that God will fill them with peace, wisdom and protection till we reach the end of this.... whenever that may be.
