Encouragement about Encouragement

Hey there, it's Deeds! 💜💛

I'm on the blog today to offer a bit of encouragement about "encouragement."

To keep it brief, as sisters and brothers in Christ, the command to encourage one another is one among many commands to the body of Christ, the Church.
There are actually nearly 60 passages of scripture called "one another" passages, wherein unity and oneness of mind, love and strength, help and hope are required of us toward others of the faith.  In this, there is a workable "body," and a powerful testimony to those outside the faith!

When the Lord calls us to encouragement, His words are pretty clear as to the consistency, the intensity and the emergency...
Note...
"See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.  But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end." (Hebrews 3:-14 emphasis, mine)

God has a beautiful story to tell in the binding of our Bible.  There is a compelling tale of Creation and the perfection within.  This leads to something known as "the fall," the drastic change from something wonderful and "good" according to corrupted and becoming more corrupt because of sin.  Then (queue the Hero music), God brings about the Redemption plan which comes in and through the Person of Jesus Christ.  This sinless God the Son, does the ultimate work to redeem mankind on the cross and through the resurrection.  Because of this act of love and grace from God, now we have the opportunity to know and love God ourselves, love others, and tell others of the hope that is in Him.  The finale of this beautiful tale is called Recreation.  This is the part where God the Son assumes the throne for all time in a newly made, perfectly developed, eternal realm of glory.  Followers of God from the beginning of time to the end, live here forever.  Dwell here for all eternity, in the presence of the Lord, worshiping, living and loving perfectly - FOREVER!
Now, this story hold so much more for us and gets unfolded in the pages of the Bible.  When you look at scripture through the lens of the "Story" - HIS story - encouragement, as was meant in Hebrews, is possible and powerful! So,

When you see a crisis in the brotherhood, encourage.
When you see pain, encourage.
When you see growth, encourage.
When you encounter rebellion, encourage.
When there's bickering, encourage.
On and on, the list goes regarding the blessing of one child of God to another.  On and on the list goes of ways and reasons to do so.

Sometimes, I make encouragement cards for my family (those who would say they are "in Christ") to help them see from scripture the necessity to endure, persevere, take heart, believe Christ, live in grace, love with power, and see the bigger picture.  This is an exercise for me too, to remember God's calling on our lives, and the implications of being His child/follower/ambassador.  And through the filter of this wonderful Story of scripture, I'm encouraged!

So here's a few examples of the cards I made, but also the scripture from which they're based (I would
encourage you to look up each of these to help understand the sentiment!):

God is good, all the time.
 - Romans 8:28
 - Psalm 145:9
 - Psalm 136

Inside the will of God is the only place to be.
 - John 15:7
 - Jeremiah 29:11
 - 1 Thessalonians 5:18

When you go through deep waters, God will be with you.
 - 2 Corinthians 4:9
 - Isaiah 43:2-3
 - Psalm 62:6

I am His, and He is mine.
 - Song of Songs 6:3
 - Ezekiel 16:8
 - Isaiah 43:1

God never allows pain without a purpose.
 - Philippians 2:13
 - Hebrews 12:6
 - Psalm 94:12
 - 1 Peter 5:10
 - Romans 5:3-5

Trust in God's perfect plan, even when His answer is wait.
 - Psalm 62:5
 - Titus 2:13
 - Psalm 46:10

I do hope this was helpful and encouraging.  This is something that works mightily in the lives of fellow followers of Christ - this use of scripture in daily living is powerful because the Word is living and powerful!  It divides even the more narrow of pathways in our souls to do that work which cannot be done by any other book, tool, blade, or medicine.  It IS the power of God - in it we find Him.  And, THAT is encouraging.

Much love,
Deeds

I Prayed for You Today

Good morning, sweet friends, it's such a joy and pleasure to be here with you again!

Today is a short blog post, but one that I wanted to send as an encouragement.  Every week in the Creative Worship Prayer Warriors group, a good number of us rallies together to bless the name of the Lord.  Every person there is in turn blessed by the communal support and value of being a sister in the Lord - a sister under One Heavenly Father.

Tim Keller writes something truly amazing about this connection that we have - in Christ - as we lift our voices, crying out to God in this very unique and specialized form of communion:
"When we believe in Jesus, we are united to Him.  We are "in Him" as Paul says repeatedly.  This means that what is true of Jesus is true of us.  Because He has the perfect and secure access of an obedient child to the Father, so now do we."
And more, "When we pray in Jesus' name, therefore (don't you love how Tim Keller writes so eloquently???), we do so with supreme confidence and yet humble dependence on unmerited grace." (Prayer, p. 106)
He's saying that when we pray, there is intimacy with God the Father Himself because of our connection to Christ.  Ones who are written in the Book of Life, engraved on the palms of His hands, have unique and intimate fellowship with Him who created us - Him who spent precious blood for the souls of us all - our Heavenly Father.

We are not just saying words; we are speaking a different language.  This language that can only exist in the perfect connection between us and God.
Prayer is one of the most potent and powerful methods of communication; and we should never stop praying.

Pray for each other.
Pray for your friends.
Pray for your mailman.

Pray for your neighbor.
Pray for your spouse.
Pray for your kids.
Pray for that one who hurt you.
Pray for that missionary.
Pray for their outreach.
Pray...

"Begin Again"
"In This Together"

Pray
.
And don't stop.

"I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.  And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace," (Philippians 1:3-7)

It is well

Hey there! Happy June 1st! ...bet you know what that means...our new stamps launch today for preorder. We have some beauties this month including a new designer that just joined  the team. Hop on over to the SHOP and check out the new releases then come on back and I will share a page I created in my Bible using the Hymn blocks set.

I used distress inks to create a soft background using the colors salty ocean, peacock feathers and mustard seed. I stamped the amazing lettering design from Hymn word art using StazOn black ink. Towards the bottom of the page I pulled in the He is Risen stamp set and used the crown of thrones, crosses stamp and the word hallelujah. I stamped the crown using the distress inks...it bled really bad so if you don't love that I recommend putting gesso down on your page before you start. I colored in the rolling hills with a touch of watercolor, and added a couple tabs and pieces of washi to complete the page.

Colossians 2:13-15 "And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses by cancelling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him."

The hymn "It is well" was written by Horation Spafford, he was a very prominent and profitable Chicago lawyer who owned many properties and had a beautiful family four girls and one boy. His life was blessed! However, just as he was becoming more successful tragedy struck and his son passed away, then the Chicago fire destroyed nearly all his investments. A few years later he decided to treat his wife and daughters to a much-needed escape and sent them on a boat trip to Europe. He had plans to join them after he finished up his business. Just a few short days later he received a telegram from his wife "saved alone".  All four of his daughters had perished at sea. It was while crossing the same waters that stole away his daughters that he penned the hymn.

I loved learning more about the beautiful tragic story behind this hymn. It can be easy to love God and see the good when life is rosy and we are feeling blessed, but what comes out of our mouths when life turns upside down? Do we grumble? Do we lift our voices in praise and thanksgiving? That can be such a struggle! Are you in a pit, are you struggling? Lift up your eyes to our Father, He is still on the throne! Praise him for the gift of salvation and the hope of a future you have, then like Job watch what God does. I highly recommend sitting back and letting the words soak into your soul...It is Well

Thanks so much for popping in I hope you found this encouraging and uplifting!
Love and prayers!

Holy Holy Holy!

Hello lovelies! It's May and I am very excited to share this months new stamp sets with you all! You are totally going to want to run on over to the shop and preorder/order these new stamps in the shop HERE. Today I am sharing a page from my hymnal ...

I normally never prep pages using gesso because... well I am lazy! However in this very old vintage hymnal I decided to use a very thin coat of clear gesso so the inks and stamping didn't bleed through. I used the 'Holy' stamp from the Joint Heirs stamp set and stamped it using my Distress inks in evergreen bough, picked raspberry, mustard seed and mowed lawn. I used a stencil with the same inks to create the floral image on the page. I really find great joy and satisfaction in using up the supplies I have laying around from past kits or projects, which is why I pulled out this praise tip in from an old Illustrated Faith kit as well as some stickers and cut outs. I stamped the, earth and of, His from the Joint Heirs set in StazOn black and mowed lawn. The word glory came from the All in All set and I first stamped it in StazOn black then offset it with the mustard seed. Now lets dig into the deeper meaning...

This hymn is probably familiar to many of you reading this. Our mouths have probably uttered the words Holy a time or two am I right? We may even say it and no longer elicit any deep emotion as we say them. Which got me thinking .... what does "holy" mean, and why is it repeated three times? Isaiah 6:1-3 "I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above Him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called to another and said: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!" Wow can you just imagine! Holy means something or someone is exalted or worthy of complete devotion as one perfect in goodness and righteousness. The word "holy' dates back to the 11th century with an old English word halig derived from the word hal meaning 'whole' and is used to mean "uninjured, sound, healthy, entire and complete." So when the seraphim are singing holy, holy, holy they are proclaiming He is the uninjured, spotless lamb of God who is to be exalted as the one who took away the sins of the world. Ok, now onto why holy is said three times...it was a number of completion or perfection, as we see through the trinity, and in the book of Revelation 4:6,8. The holiness of God is indescribable in human language; therefore, the heavens proclaimed and provided the revelation of the eternal. This beautiful hymn allows us to use our voices to surrender our hearts to experience God's mercy and love as well as enable us to proclaim God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to the world.

Thanks so much for stopping by I hope you leave feeling a sense of awe of our holy Father God. I encourage you to slow down and really listen and study the words you are singing; meditate on the merciful, loving God we serve.

Love and prayers,
Jenn @creativegurl85

Heal the broken

Hello everyone! I am back this month to share a page in my journaling Bible using the Healer of my Heart stamp set. This set has so many different words and connector phrases it is so easy to pull together many different pages and I can see using it over and over again.

"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captives , and the opening of the prison to those who are bound." Isaiah 61:1

I chose to do a smaller entry this time as I thought I may want to come back and add another entry to the top of the page. I first used clear gesso and prepped the page...yup my first time ever prepping a page. I decided to use distress inks and I knew they would bleed a lot if I didn't first add the gesso. I pulled out the colors salty ocean, evergreen bough, and seedless preserves and lightly swirled the inks into the paper. Once they were dry I used the heals stamp and simply used a small piece of washi to cover the 's' so I could have the word heal. Then came the finishing touches and a few wordfetti stickers, some simple hearts and a prayer.

Father, show me, open my eyes to those around me that are hurting. Give me your heart. Show me ways to help the hurting around me. Amen!

Thanks for stopping by! Come on over to our Facebook group and share your pages and creative worship. Then swing by the shop and pick up these stamps or any others you love and be sure to use code jennifer15 to save 15% off your purchase.

Go-Share-Here

"18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
Jesus told--rather--commanded His disciples to go make disciples of all nations.  Go.  This is an active directive.  Not one that we can sit back and accomplish.  It doesn't just happen without action on our part.  The gospel of Mark tells the same story in chapter 16. Jesus was very specific that we are to go into all the world and share the good news of the gospel.  Go.
Does that mean youI have to go to Bolivia, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, or some other far away land?  Maybe.  If that what God leads you to do.  But He also means for us to go right in our own neighborhoods, in our own workplaces, even perhaps in our own families. "Go" means to move from one position to another, to progress or advance.  Maybe God is calling you to go meet or your neighbor and share a cup of coffee or tea, and just get to know them.  Being a good friend, showing God's love and kindness, is the BEST way to make lasting disciples.  Maybe He wants you to talk to the person on the next treadmill, instead of watching the latest episode of "This is Us."
Sometimes we think Jesus was just talking about the Mission Field, so we pray for the missionaries, send offering money, and maybe even sponsor a child in Guatemala (or wherever).  But that really is the easy way out.  How much "going" are you doing?  Jesus said to "go," out of our comfort zones and reach people, wherever they need to be reached.

I used the "Send Me" stamp set for this page.  I stamped the world image, and then stamped the word "Go" right over the top of it.  I was pleased with how it fit perfectly inside the globe.  I bent the "share" stamp on my acrylic block so it would curve underneath the world.  I finished the stamping so it would say, "Go share the good news here."  I originally stamped "here" in green, and I didn't like how that looked; so I fixed it by restamping it on white cardstock and cutting out the letters into block tiles.  I used Distress Oxide Inks to stamp and color.  Notice how I blended the colors on the word "good"?  Of course, I finished with some splatter on the page, a tab and bow, highlighting my verse, and journaling.

I challenge you to GO and share the good news! Thanks for stopping by.  You can visit me anytime at  Jules' Jewels YouTube Channel and my blog Jules' Jewels, and see other projects on Instagram at @julesk.jewels.

Rest and Remember God

"And Moses said to the people, 'Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord,
which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today,
you shall never see again.  The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.'"
Exodus 14:13-14

Hello, Sweet n Sassy Creatives!!
Journaling a bit in Exodus today.  I was surprised to find that I hadn't yet journaled on this page, or anywhere near it.  I better go back over it, yes? :D

Hmmm…"you have only to be silent."  At this moment in time, Moses is desperately trying to calm a nation who feels they're on the verge of utter annihilation.  The Eygyptians are closing in behind them, and they have nothing but a vast sea full of doubt in front!  They begin to cry out in agony over the impending capture - or slaughter - by Pharoah's army.  I cannot imagine the sound of torturous cries from millions of people; I cannot imagine what Moses must have thought as the forces of hysteria and panic moved in.
Moses strains with resolve to be heard among the complaints, and with it pleas with the Israelites to continue to believe and be still!  I don't think Moses did what any kindergarten teacher would do in a room full of 30+ rowdy 5 year olds.  *finger to his lips* "Ok, people hush now.  Hush, please.  Ssshh, people of Israel.  Let's use our indoor voices; we don't need to worry about big, bad army."
Nah.
The context would suggest that his voice and righteous indignation had to be carried over a crowd of wailing and mourning.  "PEOPLE!  The Egyptians have nothing on our God!  Watch and see that He has already gone before you!  He will save us, so SHUT IT!"

My thoughts for this journaling page were just to create something that looked like a body of water.  I used distress ink oxides to achieve the look of water and reflections, then used the "Texture Tile 2" stamp set to bring out some highlights in the water.  It helped to have the "Beach Blessings" printables, by our very own, Diane Noble - I had an enormous supply of water critters to choose from: starfish, shells, nets, birds, anchors, etc.  This time, the starfish at the bottom of the sea (which is where the Egyptian army ended up), were used.  I printed them on Avery sticker paper so they're see-through.

After that, I created a tip down with one of the printable journaling cards from the set, with a simple sentiment: Rest, and remember God.

Moses wasn't trying to cheer a nation of cry-babies up; he was reaffirming the confidence they once had in God Almighty to work in THIS situation, too.  God had proven His power among idolatrous Egypt.  He'd gone far beyond ANYTHING the "magicians" could do.  And He'd showed Himself worthy of praise and trust when He calmly ushered all millions of Hebrews out the city gates.

Rest, and remember God.  I know I'm not alone in this; I know that I'm not the only one who has struggled to keep my cool when things heat up.  I know I'm in "good company" when I share that I've misplaced my trust in the One who has brought me out of my bondage to sin.  Let me tell you right now, God is not surprised by ANY SINGLE ONE of our hissy fits or lack-luster outbursts.  Unfortunately, however, it's the hard lessons that teach us, so if we have to go through a time of heartbreak and uncertainty, God will allow it if it means we get closer to Him.  And at first we may tantrum and complain, but when we realize that He's GOD ALMIGHTY, we'll see waters part and Egyptians drown right before our eyes.

We can rest and remember that God has delivered and rescued us before - He plans on doing it again.  Both in the here and now, and for eternity future!
We can rest and remember that whatever God is working in our circumstances, there's much more going on in our heart - a greater growth and mutation for His glory is happening that really cannot be seen!  Praise His holy name!
We can rest and remember that though it seems the chaos swarms like angry hornets around us, God is preparing and shaping us for at Eternity of peace and harmony.  "We need only be silent."  We need only to wait.  We need only to trust.

The Israelites learned some valuable lessons - besides humility - there at the Red Sea.  God does not operate by man's rules and expectations.  His love goes so far beyond what we can imagine and He will do everything in HIS power and in HIS will to show us His glory that we may praise and trust Him.  Oh, that I could trust Him more!

Much love,
Deeds

I Am an Heir

The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ,
provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.
Romans 8:16-17
Hey guys!
I'm hopeful about today.  I have been reminded about the absolute and unfathomable graces of the Lord.  When John talks about it, he says something like "grace upon grace."  That's exactly what God does in the life of one He's called into His family!
When journaling this passage of scripture, I didn't quite know how to express the words or heart of appreciation for my God!  Have you ever had that happen?
God knows how much it truly means to us, because He's positioned Himself as the King of our hearts and Lord of our lives - inside!  Therein lies the Holy Spirit that testifies with our spirit - they literally come together in one accord and unit - that we are children.  BUT IT DOESN'T STOP THERE!
Distress inks used to create subtle and colorful backdrop.
The scriptures here go on to tell - albeit, rather generally - that once we are children, we are heirs.  Generality in the Bible happens when the human mind and heart cannot completely imagine, describe, or understand the totality of God, His person, His blessings, His character - you name it!  We just can't quite wrap our minds around it!
The good news - the "gospel" - is such that we cannot fully fathom the what's and why's of our salvation in Jesus Christ.
So, Paul is doing his absolute best, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, to help us know what the Lord has revealed to him; and he uses terminology that we "get," at least to some degree!
Here's what we know:
1.  Being heirs with Christ starts when the Holy Spirit testifies with our spirit.  In other words, when we have come to the understanding of who Jesus is and accepted Him as such, we are saved by the power of the Holy Spirit and God sees us as a joint-heir with Christ.
Adding "Itty Bitty Blossoms" to
provide a border at the bottom
of the page.

Almost done!

2.  Being a child of God, therefore miraculously entitles us to the inheritence of Jesus Christ!  Jesus is the firstborn of God, the first fruits of the resurrection and the first to receive all that the Father has to give.  But as joint heirs, we are given what Jesus is given - a position as one who will some day be given life in the eternal home with God.  Our destination is secured with God, in Jesus!
3.  Being a joint-heir also positions us as people who suffer with Christ.  The passage clearly points out that though we have eternal glory awaiting us, we do have to remain in the world for a time.  And while in the world, we have hope; the hope of Jesus! The hope of being glorified once our time here is done!

I added white acrylic paint to the bible mat, then
used the brayer to spread it out evenly.

With a thin coat of paint on the mat, the "girl power"
stamp was able to grab a good amount without
getting sloppy.

The acrylic paint gave me a white-stamped
impression on the page.  I did this with several other
"girl power" images.

My heart is overwhelmed by the graciousness and generosity of the Lord.  How can I possibly fathom the inheritance awaiting me in Jesus, when I cannot even fully grasp His riches here on earth?  The Holy Spirit is my connection to Jesus; Jesus is my connection to eternal promise!  Praise Him, I am a child of God!
I usually enjoy the used of a sharpie paint pen to
add small embellishments like crosses across
the page!
I used paper prints to make the clothes of the main "girl power" image
you see here.  I pieced her together and added color to her
face and hair using a simple marker.
If you are a child of God, you are joint-heirs with Christ!  Hopeful, I pray you found this encouraging!
Much Love,

Be a Light

Hello everyone!
I hope you guys are off to a great start this week! Today I am sharing a page with you I recently created in my 100 Days of Bible Promises book. This book/journal has been a wonderful and inspiring place to try new techniques that I would normally be afraid to try out in my bible.

Romans 12:2
"Do not conform to the patterns of this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Then you will be able to test and approve that God's will is ---
his good, pleasing and perfect will."

After reading this verse, it reminded me of how hard it really is sometimes to live the way God calls us to! The reality of the world we live in today is really quiet far from the way God would like us to be, as a general population. The world is mixed with all kinds of different people and not everyone loves God and his word the way some of us do. It can be very easy to fall into the pits of what is most popular or "accepted" today instead of following what is right. If we can stay in His word and remind ourselves of the path we should be following, we can become a light in a dark world for others to follow. There are some that may not know God's word or simply just need to be reminded of it. And WE can be that light for those people! Shining our light can have an amazing impact on one or many.

So shine bright in a dark world!!!

Creative Details

To create this page I covered the entire page with Distress Ink in the color Black Soot. I then used a white colored pencil to get a general outline of the mason jar I wanted. To create the grass and the light in the jar, I used mixtures of lime green, white, bright blue, black and white acrylic paints. The text was the last thing I did on this page after making sure the rest of my page was completely dry. I used two different stamp sets (listed below) and stamped them with VersaMark embossing ink, then used white, black and silver embossing powder. I only embossed one word at a time to keep the powders from mixing. I set the embossing powder with my heat gun and done!!

Thanks for stopping my the Creative Worship Blog today and checking out my page! Have a great week.... and shine bright!!

xoxo,
Stephanie Gammon

Holy, Holy, Holy

"And one cried to another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts:
the whole earth is full of his glory."
Isaiah 6:3

Hey guys! Happy Monday!
So glad you're here, checking things out on the blog today.  It's encouraging to me to be able to share a bit of what the Lord lays on my heart with others, so here I am!  I'm Deeds, and today I'm utilizing a couple beautiful collections from Sweet 'n' Sassy Stamps ("Classy Script Alpha," and one of February's new releases, "Love Your Neighbor") to build an entry in my journaling bible.

I've been recently struck by the passage in Isaiah 6 (the one that most of us know as the "Holy" passage).  A couple of weeks back, my pastor, Kyle Kaurin, expounded on the God we celebrate and worship on Sundays and during our personal devotions.  He took his material from Isaiah 6, and.... WOW!

See, there are so many things we can say about God.  He is loving.  He's kind.  He's merciful.  He's compassionate.  He's patient.  He's unlike anything we have ever known, or will ever know.  And while all these things are true, we need to keep in mind that there is an ultimately terrifying aspect to this great God of ours.  He's kind, loving and generous, but He's holy; and holiness is His first and foremost attribute.  It's kind of mind boggling and hard to understand totally.
The LORD God is set apart from anything and EVERYTHING in existence.  His glory is too much.  It's simply too much for us to handle.  This part of God's nature is seen throughout scripture - especially in the Old Testament - where people have even died, or come close to dying, upon seeing this all-too-glorious God.

The link to part one of this sermon is right here, but I'll leave you with just a couple things to remember with the hope that you'll give it a listen!!

1.  The emphatic "Holy, Holy, Holy," written here in Isaiah is significant.  This is the only place in the bible where you will see a word repeated 3 times in succession, and in the language in which this passage was written, repetition does not mean redundancy; it's emphasis!  It's like the angels are crying out HOLY, so HOLY, so very, VERY HOLY!
2.  No one has the power to deal with this type of holiness.  Even the 6-winged creatures flying and shouting praises to God had to cover themselves with their wings - perhaps to escape annihilation of this HOLY God.

Why should we care about the holiness of God?  Why should we care that He's so holy?  Why does it matter to us now?  Well, I'll submit just one reason: Jesus.
Jesus is the reason Isaiah saw "Adonay."  If no one can see God and live, the only explanation for what Isaiah saw is that He saw a pre-incarnate Christ; the LORD in His redemption form; the Master of the universe already on a throne, with a train that filled His holy dwelling.

Jesus is Holy, Holy, Holy.  He is God in the flesh, sent to mankind, veiled in humility and humanity so we could see Him, touch Him, learn from Him.  Because of His death and mighty resurrection, we can live amidst the glory of the Lord one day, and do what we were created to do, perfectly: worship.  Because He is God, we can trust Him with our lives today and tomorrow!

God is Holy, Holy, Holy.  Like Isaiah, we are designed to proclaim and expose (the best we can) this holiness to the world!  People need Jesus.  People need the Lord!  His glory is incomprehensible, but we can still behold Him in the Word of His mouth, and the person of Jesus!

Much love,
Deeds
